Madder Than Woad

This solo venture started in 2018 as Madder and Woad but I renamed it in 2022 to better express the uniqueness of each of my pieces and the inclusive use and re-use of a wide variety of materials. 

My design is driven by playfulness and a love of colour, sometimes with animals appearing as totems, or plants and flowers more simply as a reminder of the beauty found in nature. 

Located in rural Dumfries and Galloway, southern Scotland, I have a small workshop space and accept pieces dropped off for their makeover and then collected by the client (collection and delivery locally sometimes possible).
